The free-standing 10,000 sqm Copper Building was built in 1975 on top of Stockholm’s main communications hub. Renovation projects over the years had considerably improved the technical standard, but it was neglected in terms of its look-and-feel. Upfront vacancies and otherwise leases with low rents and short remaining terms suited Mengus well. With active management and modernization measures, Copper Building was repositioned into a great investment grade asset.

Copper Building was divested to KPA Pensionsförsäkring (part of the Folksam Group) in May 2017. At divestment, the property was 99 percent let to a strong roster of tenants including the Church of Sweden and the Swedish Police Union.
